FAQ
1 / Is this therapy or coaching?
It’s both, in a way. Coaching is the word we use because it feels more approachable — but every session is grounded in occupational therapy expertise. That means you’ll get practical, evidence-based support, not just surface-level advice.
2 / Can I claim this under NDIS?
Yes, many participants do. Coaching often fits under Capacity Building – Daily Living or Improved Relationships, depending on your goals. We can guide you (or your support coordinator) on how to align your plan.
3 / Do I need a diagnosis?
No. Whether you’re diagnosed, self-identify as neurodivergent, or are just curious about support, coaching is open to you. A diagnosis can help with funding, but it’s not a barrier to starting.
4 / How long is a session?
Most sessions run for 50 minutes. Long enough to dig in, short enough to keep things focused and manageable.
5 / Are the sessions online or in person?
Most coaching sessions are online via secure video call. This makes it easy to connect no matter where you’re based, and it means you can join from the comfort of your own space. If you’re local and prefer in-person, let’s chat — we can explore what works best for you.
